Thank you for your interest in the Great Saunter. We have reached full capacity for this year’s event, and registration is now closed.

Is the event sold out?
Yes, the Great Saunter is sold out for 2024. We’ve hit our maximum number of registrations earlier than anticipated due to overwhelming interest.

Is there a waitlist?
We do not offer a waitlist. Great Saunter walk-number bibs are mailed in advance and are not transferable as each registrant must sign a liability waiver to participate. There is no in-person registration on the day of the event.

What can I do now?

  • Stay Updated: We encourage you to visit our website regularly and follow our social media channels for information about next year’s Saunter and other event opportunities, including the Great Saunter Fall Challenge.
  • Volunteer: Volunteering for this year’s Great Saunter is a great way to experience the event and contribute to the community.  Find out more here.
  • Plan for Next Year: Mark your calendar for the next year’s registration, at the beginning of February, and sign up early.
  • Walk the Greenway: The Great Saunter route is a public path along the Greenway and city streets. We encourage you to walk the Greenway any day of the year and are happy to share our digital map to help you follow the route.
