Four hundred twenty-five people took part in the Great Saunter Challenge 2022, including participants from 32 states, Canada and the United Kingdon.  Twenty Shorewalkers hike leaders led 18 hikes in the 16-day challenge. Below are some of the images that were shared with Shorewalkers.

Left: Sylvia and Suzanne explore NYC in their Saunter Challenge. In the top right Robert and Mac from NYC completed there 32 in the Abruzzo countryside in Italy with its mountains, valleys and hilltop towns. Robyn, color coordinated in orange, completed her challenge in Playa del Rey in California. Paige and Trish in the right middle added 6 miles as of Oct 8 in Columbus Ohio.  Susan in the lower right walks in stormy weather indeed, bringing back memories of the wettest Great Saunter last May.
