Westside River Walk

Moderate pace, around 7-8 miles walking mostly on a paved streets, starting from Riverside park, walking along the path 2 walk to the promenades of the 69th street of two piers.As we walk through waterfront, we will see various wild flowers, weeds, and  sculptures. Finally, we will reach the elevated 1930' freight rail station, "High Line" which has been transformed into a wild wonderland of the wilderness. We will walk to the west village to view the flower garden of the S. Luke's church.  An optional late post-lunch snacks at the ice cream or pizza stores will be a possibility. 

Meet: 10: AM at72nd & B'way, Trader Joe's lobby.  Take #1,2,3, to 72nd street.  Bring lunch, water and snacks.  Call for the walk status, no later than 9:30 PM, the week of the walk.   Members Only. No slow Walkers!!  Please wear appropriate food-wear.
