Jersey City and Hoboken: Statues & Outdoor Monuments

Pace easy, some hills. Distance 8 miles, duration 5 to 6 hours.

Walk south along the Hudson and then go inland to Paulus Hook and Historic Downtown Jersey City ( the ice cream shop). We will then head north to Hoboken and the St. Ann’s feast. Walk through Erie-Lackawanna Terminal, beautiful views of Manhattan westside, magnificent 100 year old buildings, Castle Point Terrace (Steven’s University), Sibyl’s Cave and the Hoboken Museum. 

Return to Manhattan  via the Hoboken "Path Train". Leader: Tom McBreen-- call Friday evening until 9:00PM (516) 812-0156, if there is question.  Check the Shorewalker’s calendar for possible changes. We walk rain or shine.

Meeting:  Broadway and Vesey Street, at 10:00AM, across from St Paul’s Church (take the “E train to last stop or 1, 2 or 3 train to Chamber Street and walk a few blocks south). The "Path Train" station is three blocks west on Vesey Street and the fare to New Jersey and back is $5.50 (check for new fare). After getting off the train at Exchange Place Station,
