The Croton Aqueduct Trail to the Museum of the City of New York

About 8 miles, 4 to 5 hours.

We meet at Broadway and 168 Street and travel east to Highbridge Park where we will view the Highbridge over the Harlem River.

From Highbridge Park we travel south past Jackie Robinson Park to City College. If desired we could detour to visit the colonial Morris-Jumel Mansion.

From City College we walk to Saint Nicholas Park, Morningside Park and over to Central Park. In Central Park we will stop at the Dana Discovery Center and the Conservatory Garden.

The hike will end at the Museum of the City of New York, which has an exhibit about the Croton Aqueduct system. Suggested admission $18.00, but py what you wish.

Meet: Broadway and 168th Street,northwest corner near the Starbucks. Take the 1 or A train to 168th street.
